Burst Pipe Repair
Burst pipes are especially common in Northern
Colorado, where temperatures drop below freezing
in the winter months. This will not only impact your
plumbing systems, but burst pipes are likely to
contribute to water damage that further impacts
your home, such as mold growth. We have years of
experience responding to weather-related pipe
issues and damage, including water cleanup and
restoration, and providing repair services to our
customers across the Front Range.
Minimize Broken Pipe Damage
It’s critical that you stay vigilant about maintaining
your water and sewage systems – especially in the
winter months. One easy indicator that something
may be wrong with your piping system is that water
doesn’t run out of a faucet when turned on. This is
typically the first sign of a frozen pipe, which is
likely already causing leakage to some area of the
home.
Before you contact a plumber, there are a few steps
you can take to minimize the impact of broken
piping. First, and most importantly, turn off the
main water line for your house to halt the intake of
additional water into your home’s plumbing system.
This is also true for commercial buildings. Next,
attempt to identify where the pipe may be frozen.
Unfortunately, the only way to know is by
inspecting any visible plumbing and water lines for
breakage or leaks. If a leak is identified, arrange a
bucket beneath the leak to prevent the water from
spreading until you’re able to have a plumber visit
the property.
We serve both residential and commercial
buildings with comprehensive plumbing services,
no matter the issue. Call our team at Top Notch
Plumbing today for emergent concerns, or schedule
an appointment.
Does your plumbing issue need immediate
repair?
Sometimes, it’s unclear whether your plumbing
situation is an emergency or if it can wait to be
serviced. Issues such as broken pipes,
malfunctioning water heaters, severe clogs and
heavy leaks require immediate attention. Other
common issues such as running toilets, dated
fixtures and issues pertaining to garbage disposals
will likely not cause damage to your home or
building. Regardless of the issue at hand, if it seems
emergent, trust your gut and give us a call. We’re
always happy to help, and it’s always better to air
on the side of caution.
For other concerns, book a consultation today and
our team will visit you on-site to assess the situation
and make a quick fix before things go wrong.

This is the BEST plumbing company around!!! The
guys are polite, professional, courteous, and very
knowledgeable in their trade!! Our boiler system is
from the 1960's and they had no problem working
on it. We are forever customers!
-Amanda, February 2021
Even though we didn’t use Top Notch to replace our
heater recently, Adrian was kind enough to help us
with pricing to ensure we were not being over
charged by another company. We received a quote
of $4,500 from a competitor and it seemed a bit
high. We ended up paying half the original amount
using another company and we couldn’t thank
Adrian enough! Without his guidance we would
have overpaid for a heater replacement. Most
companies seem like they will undercut a
competitor just to gain business but not in this case.
We will use Top Notch in the future!
